January 2008 Review

PROFIT / LOSS = + 103 Points

We had some good priced winners, we turned over plenty of odds on shots and short priced favourites. We listened to lots of different styles of music including classic rock, gangster rap, classical, heavy metal, blues, hip hop, old skool rave, dance and classic TV themes.

We made roughly 103 points profit and had fun which is always the main thing, so I cant complain at all about the month of January and here is to an equally good February.

Great work, brig.

Laydough lost 8 points today so dont forget to add that on. Also the Laydough total is rolled over from 2007 which they ended in profit of 16.27 points.

So the real January total is:

Laydough = - 65.14
The Brigadier = + 103

So the Brig is 168.14 points ahead of Laydough in 2008 but im not counting. ;)

The Brigadier used to keep his monocled-eye focused on the UK racing scene for us. Every day he scrutinised the line-ups and selected his premium lay - the lay of the day. He's now retired to his shooting lodge in the wilds of the West Midlands where he was last seen taking pot shots at the local peasants, sorry, pheasants. What a cheek those Betfair guys have got. I have never been so insulted in my life when they decided to get rid of me and this blog is dedicated to beating them senselesss. They read it every day as well and doesn't The Brig know it. :)
