A good result as Mahogany Blaze was beaten into 2nd. The horse was involved in an early battle for the lead with Marodima and it ruined both of the horses chances as Wee Robbie had that little bit extra left in the tank at the business end.

A losing bet with Boomtown making all and winning pretty nicely. Wannabe Free beat the rest of the field, Contessina ran badly and looked to be struggling early in the race and trailed home in last place.
