A strange old day that started badly, then became a good day before going downhill again, we are about 3/4 point down going into the final race, so it all hangs on this. If the lay wins its a loss of roughly 4 1/4 points and if it is beaten then its a profit on the day of roughly 3 1/4 point. I really hope it is a profitable end, but if it isnt then I just have to take it on the chin.

A bad result to end a rollercoaster day and a loss of 3.6 points. On the negative side thats two losing days in a row and on the positive side after 8 days of February we are in a double figure profit with 20 days of the month left following on from the 103 point month of January.

I fancied this one, if you have time can you give me your reason for taking this on. Not that Im doubting you, just would appreciate it if you can spare a brief explanation.
No problem.
This horse has been very busy and this is his 4th race in the last 16 days. He ran just 4 days ago and a busy schedule will catch up with any horse so Im hoping he will run flat.
All 4 of his career wins came in double figure fields of 12 or more runners. He needs a strong pace and he may not get it here.
He has been beaten in his last 14 races, recently from marks of 55,54,54,56 etc. Racing off 56 today I see no reason why he should defy it (or certainly not that he shoudl be an odds on fav)
Although he did win at Wolverhampton in March 07 he has been unplaced in 80 % of his races at this track.
The jockey Fergus Sweeney has a poor record for this trainer. He is 0 from 8 this year and has only won 3 times from 43 rides for the trainer in the last 5 years.
At the price of 1.85 that we layed at I think that price is much too short and am happy to take it on. Its not the strongest of races but I think we can get her beaten. If Im wrong then I have to pay out and its a losing day.
