A winning start to Saturday as Wherry got 3rd place beaten less than a length and ensured we made 1 .04 points profit from the bet. Oberlin was beaten in 2nd but annoyingly he only hit 1.51 in running. If he had have hit 1.5 in running we would have won 6.04 points from the bet but we missed out by 0.01. I will take a winning start however after yesterdays disgrace.

I didnt lay at 1.51, I just set my bet at 1.5 as soon as they left the stalls. Gutted to see he hit 1.51 but keep smiling. :)
That is very strange that you did not get matched. Because if its price touched 2.04 in running then anyone who put 2.2 up had to get matched otherwise it could not have reached 2.04 without all of the 2.2 getting taken??
Are you sure the race was off when you placed the lay?
Use bet persistence and you don't need to worry. Assuming no late withdrawals off course.
